I almost missed this, but the Blue Stars recently posted a video of their 2023 program, In-ABSINTHE-ia, from the DCI World Championships Semifinals. This is a high cam video the corps took from the top deck of Lucas Oil Stadium.

One of my favorite 2023 shows.. 💚

Where's the gracious BD nation's at ?
BD January 2024 schedule on the 12th, 13th, 14th had Brass and Battery camp, while two of those dates were also front assemble call back camps. I would love to be a fly on that wall.
Anyhow i came across one leak music selection, not going to share it but it gives off a fun vibes. By the words of one of the designer on social media, this year show will be exciting.

At this time 10 years ago, the Bluecoats design team was working on TILT, the show that started their impressive run of seven medals in eight competitive seasons. As far as the last 10 years are concerned, that run is second only to the success of BD.
It also marks 10 years since I started following drum corps, as I was introduced to the activity following the conclusion of the 2013 season. In 2014, TILT turned this novice drum corps fan into a Bluecoats fan. 10 years later, the Bluecoats continue to captivate me in a way that no other corps can.
Happy TILT-iversary Bluecoats! Hope the mad scientists are putting something together to bring home championship #2 in 2024!
That #2 title is inevitable for sure.
Happy Tiltversary BC.. 2014 was a phenomenal year! BD record setting placement score, Filliniesque was just stunning. But BC came with Tilt that sets them apart from the rest of the field that year, and set them on a successful 10 years run, because this year will be no different it's only a matter of months if this is the #2 Champions title.

Check out this reactions, he did BC after.

I'd like to hear BD put out the strains & melodies of Tubular Bells (the original version). If anyone could do that, it would be them.
Already have chills

Every year I go through withdrawal when the season ends. If you do too, what do you do for it?
One benefit of having paid for 2 months of Flo is I can listen to Flo Radio for a few weeks and it brings up nice memories of earlier seasons or I hear a show I never heard before. Just heard “Tilt”, “Avian”, and others. I heard the “The Great Event”. and wow it reminded me how much that middle 2010s Blue Knights era was special.
Yeah. I am a track and field fan, so i have that coming up this weekend and will last for 10 days. I have a personal project working on so that will definitely keep me occupied for very very long, really excited about it! besides i am trying to start a meditation journey, it takes a lot of discipline and i am no where near achieving an ounce of the practice. Also I have a buddy who comes to pick me up now and then to do fun, eventful things with. I have renovation work to complete on my kitchen and bathroom Lol. Other random things may pop up that i may reject Lmao..

May i say.. I feel like BD show 2024 Might be a bit of tonal shift, still effective BD way, musical non the less, for eg.. say to 2011 and other past shows from 80s like 88 or 89. I do not know anything though just my intuition.
I am only trying to feel out their direction like i did in 22 for 23 and i think i have proven myself right.. I could sense the tone and vibes and i keep seeing yellow when i broke it down over time, it explains BD direction for 2023, and yes it was correct from an intuition perspective.

Just a wild guess
Yeah. If it's the case out of guessing, it probably won't focus on Carl but his ideas, and work would still be a big part of the main theme.. Out of guessing out loudly 😁

Just a reminder if you are on the monthly subscription for FLO, you need to cancel on their site. If you don't cancel before your monthly renewal, you will be charged for another month.
Thank you, but I made sure the exact Saturday night as the event ended lol

DCI officially called it a three-peat. End of story for whatever delusional asterisk lovers are out there.
The ironic thing is, if anything, it was even more impressive than one in non-worldwide pandemic times, because to get the second one, they had to assemble an almost entirely new corps, after two years of inactivity. That makes it worth at least the equivalent of a five-peat. 😂
🤣 Oh that must have made them even more mad Lol.

To shut down the nattering nabobs of negativism that run rampant over DCP, BD will have to win 2024 for a no-quibbling-about-it three-peat, and then win 2025 for the first-ever four-peat. (And they can do it, mind you.) But someone is ALWAYS gonna put an asterisk next to this three-peat.
Brother It just never ends with these people, but i can accept, that's how it is when your at the top, not just drum corps but with anything in life. They are free to please themselves in their own minds, i just won't be joining along with them. Misery likes company, and i won't be apart of theirs... I'll stay on this side with the others who chose to appreciate and enjoys......
Congratulation! to BD for the Elusive Three-Peat
