Is Properie the snare on the right? I wish he was back judging. Could always count on him to be fair. When does his son age out?
I didn't think Prosperie is judging since his son marches Regiment

I find turning the sun on and off way more distracting than it was when it was running continually. I assume it was a response to feedback, but it’s a bit odd.
What changes in a show AREN'T response to feedback?

The Crossmen have more actual drill in their show than most of the corps out there. They put in a really good performance. (I am live at Lucas Oil).
Actual drill only appeals to the boomers. Now it's trot to your dot, swivel hips and grind that pelvis!

He's one of two Music Analysis judges tonight, and he has not been nice to PC this season.
Not the only corps who's gotten dinged (and useless feedback on the tape) from him.

It's been a great season for PC and one they can build on for next year.
Unfortunately, I don't think today's performance will be enough. Definitely wasn't the best brass performance for them... and then there's J Webb.
Please tell me J. WEBB isn't judging GE

Their GE score went up over a point after they included it into the show.
Yup. Done simply to please the GE2 judge that needs to be told how the visuals tell the story.- 2

Tonight's the night for outdoor WGI shows with brass and percussion?

I'm liking this outdoor WGI show with brass.

hadn't seen Troopers since Atlanta -- when did the all white cowboy switch into the traditional Trooper uniform?

Hope so -- I was there for the 2018 Friday night monsoon! No one wants a repeat of that!

You can almost use this show a a metaphor for the Cadets. Went from being on top (Parts 1/2), to losing almost everything (Parts 3/4), and then "Rising" from the ashes to compete again (Part 5).
Atlas = The Cadets --> Cadets Rising from 2018. Not a smooth rise for them, they have had some bumps along the way, but a rising nonetheless.
There's no almost -- I believe this show design is supposed to be a metaphor.
Just as 2022 was -- (leave it all in the) "Rear View Mirror."

so unless they can find a way to up their GE, it will still be tough to stay ahead of PR and Mandarins... imo.
I guess Atlas needs to rise from a spinning waffle iron.
Because that’s GE in 2023.

I guess Atlas needs to rise from a spinning waffle iron, because that appears to be what impresses GE caption judges

Well, well.
Who would've thunk it a week ago, Cadets score 86.4; only 4 other corps having higher scores so far this season...

if it's that big of a deal for a corps, they're free to put a green tarp over the logo

They were scored on DCA sheets. I find it interesting these two corps did this.
If that's the case, what does that say about a comparison of Surf to Bucs, Cabs and Bush?

DCA had a show last night in Landisville, PA.
I can't tell from the recap if they were scored on DCI or DCA sheets.
Jersey Surf - 68.9
Raiders - 56.35
