  1. I am in a similar situation. I'm a junior, hoping to march after my senior year. By then, I'll be a four year rifle & flag, and three year saber, as well as three year captain, and national a winterguard. It's every guard girls dream to march phantom, but I'm thinking of auditioning for crossmen as they are closest to me. Both my techs have marched crossmen guard for one season. I'm debating whether auditioning this year for the expeirence, to see if I could make it. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments as to if you think I could make it, plus what would be a requirement to be on the guard. I haven't seen my techs in a while so I can't ask them. I know most corps evaluate your work ethic and adaptability as well as technique during the audition process. Anything would be helpful to mean the author of the post, I'm sure.
