I'm gonna post my 'final' reactions to Academy. 100% a step up from Troop, but the show completely lacks the aesthetic that we've expected from Academy these recent seasons. I'd say brass is a step down and guard isn't characterized as it has been in recent years. I LOVE the uniforms and the brass book... I'm not sure how the show will hold up competitively, but I've been wrong on this front before. A great show, I can't wait to see it in person... but we'll see how it progresses.

There's talent on the field, and I enjoyed viewing the performance, but I don't see much of a competitive side of this show... agreed

Music in general is really solid, drums especially. Overall show concept and visuals don't really seem to be there. I'm anxious to see how this show unfolds throughout the season!

Madison beat Colts, which was not a popular opinion. GE 2 gave the scouts the only edge on Colts, which was sizable enough to made a distinctive difference. Feel free to check out the thread for juicy talking points, reactions.

This early in the season, not at all. Props, flags, unis... all roll out throughout the season. in my opinion/experience

Ok... this interview is lasting a bit too long... they should have chunked this up in different segments. still, I give flo props for doing stuff like this!

some drama in the Madison show thread involving Colts vs Madison. Just saying for curious parties who might be looking for discussion during intermission!

I'm enjoying these DCI interviews/sitdowns, I hope they continue throughout the season and include corps of ALL levels!
