That's understandable but when people stop in the middle of pathways that's just stupid. Especially if they are looking down at their screen. I run into people who do that on the sidewalks and tourists are the worst. Step to the side people :)
It’s tough getting around though. Especially Saturday night.

You're much kinder than I am. In my older age, the one thing I can't tolerant is stupid. If you stop in front of me, suddenly, while looking down at your phone you're going to pay for it.
It’s pretty rough on that concourse in Indy. The souvies are all lined up and there’s a lot of stopping and staring at the shiny things.

Amazing those of us who could remember our old days. this happened most of the time..hit the truck stops and the several fast food places around it and scatter for an hour or so. Very different times today, especially when you pay thousands. Gezz the things we did back in the day. It's amazing we all lived through it..lol
Ain’t that the Truth?

Especially if you put it in a water bottle first ... but that's just a guess on my part.
I think a coke bottle works too if you’re rockin the red vino. Just guessing, I don’t even know.

Doesn't anyone carry a couple of beers in the sleeves of a very light jacket that you wrap around your waist anymore? Maybe security is really tight. When there was good security, I'd wear an old pair of my soccer referee socks that would need a rubber band to keep them up and slide a beer in each one. Come on people, work the problem.
It’s not tight on Thursday. You could probably sneak in beers and a bottle of jack.

Well I got VIP seats at Lawrence and they were only $46...Allentown for TWO days just $90...
I think St. Louis was $90 for us both.

Well it's not so bad when I'm buying for myself...one year I treated two non drum corps friends to the show at Giant's stadium and spent $375...LOL
Holy cow! For Jim and I for three days in Indy, it’s $600 something.

I HOPE you are right...not sure if I want to drive almost 4 hours to a cancelled show...even though I paid the ridiculous price of $125 for my ticket...
Wow! That’s what my finals ticket cost!

Looks the rain just kind of dried up. It’s looking pretty good now. We’ll see. I’m sure Jim will give me updates.

If only they had real beer to put in that cup holder...
Just swill. Overpriced swill at that.

Speaking of Lucas Oil - are the seats inside padded or are they just the hard plastic?
I don’t know about the whole stadium but mine in 140 is padded and has a cup holder.

I think we'd all rather forget that. AND the three endings they put on over 2 weeks that then left them unable to finish cleaning
#GHdesignfail
And the new endings weren’t making it better.

Centerville is one uncomfortable place. I really think Soaring Sounds needs to move to either Welcome Stadium or Roush Stadium.
Mason uncomfortable or worse?

I’m with you on the Skyline. I like Camp Washington chili and Gold Star in a pinch.
i will never be a fan of goetta. Jim loves it.

Weather looks a little dicey.

It’s not looking so great for Centerville tonight either.

Pretty sure I am not like that either.
I saw a lot of people jumping on each other last night. I just want to enjoy the show. I’m at an age where I don’t fret about things I absolutely can’t change. There are so many other things that I can try to change, or at least try by talking about them.

Well that will only make OH IO a better place if you and Jim join us. You could live in central Ohio and be within driving distance of Bloo and CT! Not to mention the Reds, Skyline Chili,
the Bengals, and the OSU Buckeyes.Soon.

ATTENTION CENTRAL OHIO DRUM CORPS FANS...as you know there was no Central Ohio drum corps show this year but there will be an open rehearsal by the Bluecoats at Newark's White Field on Tuesday, July 31. The evening block will include some sectionals and a full ensemble
currently scheduled 5:00-9:00.There is a $3 student and $5 adult admission to help the corps and the Newark High School Band. (Sorry no refunds due to rain) Seating will be general admission.
The Bluecoats will have their souvie stand and the Newark Band Boosters will have food/drink concessions.
Again, this is a rehearsal. The corps will not be in costume. They do plan to perform a full run of Session 44 and a brief encore.
I wish I could be there. When we retire to Ohio...soon.

What if the kids want to finish the season, which is almost over, and someone is watching them from here on?
I’ll go from this Tuesday until Wednesday the 8th. I doubt they’d want these eyes on them.

I think it’s the set up. You have no choice but to walk through the souvies to get to your gate.
