. I though it looked less like that this year. Compared to Cavies anyway.it still bothers me to see SCV marching bicycle like the cavies.

. I went to her FB page (we are not friends and I don't know her) and all I saw were dog photographs and some items supportive of drum corps. For those who say people are not reveling in seeing the cadets destroyed-just read this post by poppycock. This person and others are malicious people who are out to destroy the cadets, yea, and hop and taking pleasure in it. Ask Kathy santo. She is head of the club. (Evidence you say? How many yea employees now work for her? And they get paid to post on glass door as part of their job for the dog training company.) look at her Facebook from last September. She's been actively trying to destroy hop. Sick! All of you who want cadets gone-be careful what you ask for. And yet today, on fb, there is post after post after post from the members of the 2016 cadets talking about this being the best summer of their lives, learning hard and great life lessons from hop about working hard, never giving up, working till the very end , thanking staff and hop, calling cadets their home. They don't sound miserable at all-but rather very very thankful and proud to be cadets in 2016.

. I just spit my...you know the rest...Large number of statues available, with pedestals optional. Call 1-800-ADONIS.

. I'm sitting here at the hair salon laughing out loud! #### you!And in other breaking news, World War II is over.

. I saw the video and the security person laid hands on him first. I read that the Indianapolis PD told him that he could file charges. I've met Tim. Nice guy. What a shame that this has happened. It was very warm down there and tempers seemed short, inside and outside of the stadium.Yeah....over the altercation in the lot after Semis.
Bummer...he was NOT in the wrong, but may have felt the need to resign to protect the corps overall.

. I guess I missed the personal attacks against other participants in the discussion. I think the anonymity permitted lends itself to this sort of behavior. That's why my name, face, and history is slapped right up there. Keeps me in check.Conversation is good. Hateful, deliberate attacks are not and many sites prevent such things. You think people come here to listen to people vent their personal vendettas against others?? Is that the purpose of DCP? Really?? These people who want or need to attack can send a personal message and save us all from having to read their garbage, but they don't because they want the attention.. It makes them feel important.. Other sites give warnings. 3 warnings and you are out. You think these people would risk being banned?? Where would they go to vent and play out their vendettas?? They would control themselves for sure. But we all know this behavior is very common on the internet so guess we all have to just put up with it.. NOT ! DCP does not allow personal attacks yet yesterday their were plenty of that going on and nothing was done so guess I am wasting my breath. Have a great winter everyone !!!

. You want to censor conversation on here? Not everything in drum corps is furry bunnies and fluffy clouds. There's going to be serious conversation on here. And some unpleasant truths.I know this is off topic but I think it is time for DCP to change the rules to fit the times. DCP should just ban the negativity which constantly fills the forums. People like PHD and this new Poppycock have nothing of value to say and only post to express negative feeling and to pursue their agenda of feeding their insecurities and attacking people they know or don't know because it makes them feel like a real person. They drive people away from having and meaningful discussions and just make DCP feel like a supermarket rag tabloid. I know I will be spending much less time here and will only be looking for info and updates. When DVP decides to clean house and make this site a nice place to visit few will stay except for the negative, hateful people. Will check be around in a few months.

. I'm not an alum but I support the corps in a few ways. I've done some crying the last few days and now, I just have to laugh. The Cadets will survive this but it's going to be a little painful. I know this pain. I'm a lifelong Cubs fan. Look where we are now.The sad part about this whole thing is how people seem to be taking pleasure in this. The situation of the staff leaving based on the actions and attitude of one man is completely devastating, and given the influence Cadets have had on this activity, in my opinion, this news should not be taken lightly. But I forgot where I am. DCP sometimes can be a deep abyss full of hate and vitriol. Instead of meaningful suggestions or solutions, you get immature jokes and pleasure for the failing of a drum corps. Yet in the same tongue, you get people wishing certain corps were still in existence.

. I have two former employees on my FB page.... The stories...Because someone posted it and new people found out about it?
The substance has not been a secret to the community, but this site serves a wider audience than the community.
If what we have heard is happening is actually happening, it's been a long time coming. That's all.

Warm ups are in the convention center. It's pouring. I'm taking an uber over to LOS from the Tow Yard.
-
. I was looking hard for the Guardsmen. I don't think we made the cut. ;-) Sky Ryders and Bridgemen grave markers are easy to find.In this respect (putting names of defunct corps on gravestones), Academy is picking up an idea Carolina Gold brought to DCA in 2014:

The kids are maxing out this show. From where I sit, they're performing the hell out of it.
-
I don't know what it's like in Knightstown but it's raining hard and storming in downtown Indy. Not a fan.
-
I'm outta here, kids! See you on the 50, Plat 99, or Tow Yard. Whichever comes first. Safe travels to those coming to Indy. Go Cadets!!!

. They'd have to find someone to do that tongue thing that Gene Simmons does. Could be tough.Hmmm. I'm not sure KISS music would work on the field. And the makeup would take forever.
-
. The KISS method. Works for me!You mean like Bluecoats' story, "Just play cool music and do cool things?"

I sit really close. It didn't seem as defined as years past. To me. Or maybe it was just wishful thinking. ;-)
