For what it's worth, I queried FloMarching about the potential for streaming Open Class shows. They said they are considering expanding out to include them next season but it will be contingent on how well views go for Open Class prelims and finals. Please encourage as many people as you can with accounts to watch and maybe we can get some Open Class love on FloMarching next season.

Not entirely correct. They will compete with the Open Class corps but as members of the International Class division. What it boils down to is, although they are competing with Open Class, according to DCI International rules, they are not allowed to displace a U.S. corps. So if they come in 12th place during prelims rank-wise, DCI will slide 13 Open Class corps into finals. If they come in 13th, game over.

Same with Thursday during World Class prelims. If they beat Blue Devils, the Top Twelve suddenly becomes the Top Thirteen.

I would imagine that will change with subsequent issues of Drum Corps World. Only one show in our first swing was covered and we've been off for another round of everydays up until last night.

As for videos, we do not (yet - it's being considered against the budget) have distribution copyrights for our show. One of our staff consultants is a librarian for The President's Own, and she keeps us strictly in line with what is legal or not legal for us to do. We are simply not willing to risk losing our copyrights for performance, as much as we're all dying to drop some buzz online. As much as it costs, though, we have to weigh it alongside what is financially responsible for the corps. We don't want to be making any 24-hour pleas for fundraising because people wanted to see the show on YouTube, if that makes sense.

Southwind performed on the field, and I think several other corps got in full performances as well before they called the show.
