  1. Nothing was done in writing and no agreement was in place. This left the window open for the new board to formalize the action regarding his employment status. These folks are not screwing around.
  2. They are also reporting the new hotline set up for victims: CADETS AND YEA MEMBERS:If you have a complaint of harassment or sexual misconduct YEA wants you to call this hotline 312–786-6540

  4. Have you been there since this all started? They will get to it. Staff have bigger issues to deal with right now.
  5. Not sure who even manages these. They are not managed by the Cadets or YEA.
  6. While I agree about the relevant background to the story... the debate about him would be better served on another post.
  7. Agreed... I believe the whole Stuart Rice, Evan Rice or whatever his name is should be it's own post so we may stay on topic here... IMHO.
  8. That is a really comprehensive list. THANK YOU for pulling it all together. Page 272!
  9. More fall out: "Dear Alumni and Friends, The events of the past several weeks have been gut wrenching for the entire marching arts activity. The Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps and the Crossmen Alumni Association want to express our unwavering support for the brave women who have come forward and shared their stories. The Crossmen family has been both shocked and saddened by the allegations that have come to light and we stand with all victims of sexual assault and violence against women. We value the due process built into the US legal system. However, membership in the Crossmen Hall of Fame is a privilege and not a right. After careful consideration, and with the overwhelming support of the Crossmen HOF Membership, the Crossmen Alumni Association has revoked George Hopkins’ membership in the Crossmen Hall of Fame effective immediately. -Crossmen Hall Of Fame Committee"
  10. Did't mean to suggest more work... just they also have been covering this pretty closely... especially WFMZ.
  11. Jeff Fiedler was never considered as a successor. Did not happen. Will not happen.

  14. Tom Aungst and Drew Shanefield are beating a path to his door as I type...
  15. From the "You just can't make this stuff" up file: WFMZ reporter Jaccii Farris via twitter "HACKED!: YEA officials say someone hacked their website and posted the bio of a former CEO for another Drum Corps. They're now looking to see what, if anything else was done." Any guesses who the CEO may have been?
  16. WFMZ Reporter Jaccii Ferris via Twitter @Jaccii "DCI on claims CEO Acheson was told about Hopkins in 2003: 'The Board is looking into those allegations with Mr. Acheson, who is fully cooperating in that review.' "
