Strong woman. We have a lot of stuff. -
I learned that there is always room for more standby. I learned that Bus Wars stink when the front of the bus is a bunch of silly sally's. I learned that Bradford still loves my b**bs Y b**bs . I learned that Bradford and the entire bass line love 'dress center dress' in horn arc. ^0^ ^0^ ^0^ I learned that Mo and Anthony don't like yelling, yelling of any kind, yelling that is in basics. Or any other time. SSSSSHHHHH NO YELLING!!! I learned that Russ is going through puberty and cannot keep a straight face on retreat. I learned that Flamenco Cha Cha can be twice as fun if you play all your parts up the octave at FFFF. I also learned your head can implode if you play aforementioned song and octave range at FFFF while marching off retreat. MY EYES ARE BLEEDING. Oh, and BEEEYAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

CABALLERO PRIDE!! Is it August 3rd yet? Oh, we have a mid-season break (which I'm not complaining about), but ironically I have a busier schedule on an off weekend away from the corps than I would on a show weekend. Must cram all BBQ's, birthday parties, and 'normal people' stuff in as much as possible. :P :P I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE AUGUST PUSH!!!

GRAND PRIX Review
TheMoonlightChef replied to stansea's topic in DCA All-Age Corps and Alumni Corps Show & Event Reviews
As a competing corps member of the Caballeros, I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching our Alumni and screaming my head off and cheering for them. It is such a rush and an honor to watch them perform. Like parting the curtain of time and watching a history lesson. Seeing the reflection of what we were as Caballeros and what we will become. No other corps has that. And I am I not slighting any other organization or team. It is just truth. It is our legacy and something I am incredibly proud of. I will be joining the Alumni corps in a few more years, and I cannot wait. I love the competing corps, but it is getting to be that time that I pass on the legacy to younger talent. I will ALWAYS wear my beloved kickpleats. FOREVER. -

Sean, you are THE man. -
I agree with you Fraber. Unfortunately, some people are just oblivious to that. I'm the kind of person that will openly tell someone to quiet down, try and be polite but firm about it. I get annoyed at obnoxious people no matter what the age. Common sense should dictate not to partake in such behavior at ANY kind of performance. concert, play, etc <_< <_< <_< .

Thanks for all the reviews and comments! The whole corps is working hard this season and things are starting to come together. Congratulations to the Buccaneers on another win and to all the corps that came to the Grand Prix. Gary Gill and his amazing team have been working with Cabs' drum line for the past 5 seasons and never cease to put out an entertaining and challenging book. Gary Gill is the MAN! -

Thank you Frank. I'm honored and just happy to be representing the Caballeros. You the man Sean, thanks baby. Thanks Timmy. And thank Donna for me. I wouldn't have this opportunity if it weren't for women like her and I know she hates that, but whatever. Oh, and I don't require a lawn chair, I leave that for the staff... :P -
This Mello will be marching near me most of the show. Poor guy.
