TONS of narration in the Blast! show, what are you talking about!? (have you even SEEN it?)

They were good in 92 and 93, too. Didn't stop the trailer trash from booing them.

Cavie 95, what's your definition of a clean drumline? I gotta be honest here, they're pretty few and far between these days (exception of Phantom last year, Cadets a couple of years recently, and probably Devs 03...). That'd be what, 4 lines? Not much to write home about. Hornlines? They're just marching band brass these days, nothing like the old days. I don't need "RFL!" all the time, but how about at least once a show? Drill is DEFINITELY much better, that's a given. Fun stuff to watch. Too bad the musicality (AND the volume) has gone out the window thanks to that light speed drill. I do love a hot guard though! :)

Well, since Mike the moderator saw fit to delete the ONLY other thread about BD winning (wow, Mike, nice job buddy!), I thought I'd better bump this back up from page 8 or wherever. Not that I think it'll last too long (management is far too interested in keeping "judges suck" and "hopkins sucks" and "let's all boo" topics alive and well...). But anyway, bump. And, GO BLUE DEVILS!!!! And congrats to Cadets, Cavies, and all the rest as well! :)

The Blue Devils have been booed plenty of years, my friend. Mostly for being "too good". Same with Star. Trust me...with "fans" like that, who needs enemies?

No, brutha...not at all. It's just DCI crowds in general disgust me. It goes way back (remember the total lack of class in 1992?). Not speaking of everyone, just the ignorant hicks that think they have the right to ruin the championships. I'm a former Blue Devil, and honestly I can't really enjoy my teams victory with all this negative crap going around...all FAN BASED! (no, it ain't Garfield, no, it ain't their director, no, it ain't narration, and no, it ain't hashmarks...it's ignorant twits who think it's "their" show cause they paid their $30 bucks.)

Instead of just booing like the ignorant trailer trash you obviously are, why not go for broke and make this "the year of the fan". Nobody has to remember the great performances at all, you "fans" have already ruined the vibe. The BD well-deserved victory of Thursday has already been tainted (hell, I can't even keep a "Congratulations Blue Devils" on the front page of the forum, how sick is that?). So, forget the boos, and go for the gold. Greet em with utter, stone cold silence. Then, when they're done, nobody applaud. Just an occasional "cough" from way in the back. After you've accomplished all THAT, as they march off the field, strike up a rousing chorus of "na-na-nana, na-na-nana, hey hey, goodbye". I'm sure if you "rehearse" it well on Friday, you talentless hicks, you can really "nail it" on Saturday and the "year of the fan" will be on for the history books.
