  2. The veteran member that assaulted her was a baritone. The person who led rookie talent night was a trumpet. He was the Georgia soloist. Staff didn't penalize him because he was a soloist.
  3. You'd be surprised the bare minimum Spirit can't do. The staff especially. 19 medical staff all walked out.
  4. The person at BD who led Rookie Talent night is a trumpet player. Marched spirit in 19 as well
  5. I personally want to do all I can to help her and make things right. She and every other victim from 2021 and years past deserve representation. The whole probationary thing is honestly a load of #### and everyone is aware of it. If anyone on DCP is interested in helping her, her petition has already gotten a good amount of traction. I have attached it below https://chng.it/hDfGzdRG
  6. No worries, student leadership. It was a lot of mob mentality and a lot of people acted out of fear, but those harassing her to this day genuinely still believe there was nothing wrong with what happened
  7. We failed her as her corps members. The brass leadership team and veterans just kept threatening those who wanted to support her
  8. The corps knew about the sexual assault, staff knew as well. This veteran member assaulting her was known for being creepy in previous years. We figured staff would handle it. In regards to RTN, it was mob mentality and those who supported her had to stay quiet or we'd get harassed or threatened as well.
  9. Christopher Moore was the corps director. Ed Medina was the Corps Manager
  10. Spirit 19 members are getting ready to come forward for her behalf. https://chng.it/hDfGzdRG
  11. OP has put out a post with a petition. Let's get this widespread https://www.facebook.com/100001523737826/posts/4841180399276037/?d=n
  12. This is the same stuff that happened in 2019. DCI needs to do more and Spirit needs to take the season off.

  14. I believe they helped uncover Troopers stuff. They're becoming more known in the community. MAASIN (Marching Arts Access, Safety & Inclusion Network) is a community-led effort to increase equity and safety in DCI, WGI, DCA, and any ensemble within the purview of the marching arts community including scholastic ensembles. We are entirely volunteer run by concerned and dedicated marching arts community members from a variety of performance and staff backgrounds.
