Honestly GE is one of those captions where I can understand that judges give different different scores. I think its the most subjective caption as it is based on personal preference

I am a bass drummer with only high school experience, but how does this even happen? Also I get that it's hard but maybe then someone else should do it instead of her? Maybe it's just me, but if I was a director and a soloist was messing up for at least two weeks in a row, let alone a whole season, I would just switch them with someone else. Surely she would understand it's for the good of the group, no?

I didn't care for it either but I understand that he was trying to create suspense because everyone knew it could go either way at the end.

DCI wanted to give the pit more love so they heavily restricted the movement of the percussion judge. I'm all for that! But a better solution is obviously to have two judges. The former means the one poor(?) judge has to watch both the battery and pit simultaneously, and the attention he gives is neither as dedicated nor accurate as if there were two. Just saying... And anyone who thinks it was because of money is delusional, sorry to be blunt.

Petition to return to P1 and P2 judge. I won't make it but if someone makes a change.org thing I'll sign it.

That does not make any sense to me, particularly from a financial or entertainment perspective. You paid lots of money for the tickets (especially the ones near the 50 yard line) and you're going to leave instead of staying another 15 minutes? For subjectively the most impressive performance of the night? Also, even if you do not like the Blue Devils, leaving as they are entering the field is disrespectful to the members. Regardless of scores, they work just as hard as anyone else. This is coming from a Boston fan. Of course, I would love if they (BAC) won finals, but they are already breaking history with both their scores and their placements. When your expectations are already broken, how can you be anything but ecstatic?🙂 (You can be the (blue) devil's advocate (see what I did there?) and say the people who left early also wanted to be able to beat the rush out of the stadium, but that's beside the point).
