I totally agree....its the only one I wanted to see out of all the webcasts......some of us grew up on D II/III and its our only way to show our support.

I have no association with any corps.....well, since 1985, but I must say that REVO looked really nice today. They seemed to be moving forward and look like they are ready to move to the next level....DIV II.

I have some really vivid memories about some of the DIV II and III champs getting to go on to DIV I prelims........some of those corps even became known as "giant killers." Even though that DCI chose to eliminate the opportunity for those corps to have a chance to compete.....citing the extra cost associated with keeping a corps through a few more days of competiton. It would be nice if DCI would fund the cost of the extra housing for two nights to allow DIV II and III champs a chance to knock on the door of the top 17. We all know that there are at minimum four corps that could make a substantial run at the top 17. Even with the extra cost associated.........DCI, could at least offer the opportunity for the DIV II/III two highest scorers the chance to compete...and to actually opt out if they couldnt afford to stay. Then they could defer to the next corps with the highest score. But, that would spell disaster to some of the lower DIV I corps.

With the majority of the first rounds of camps complete, it has always been interesteing to hear how many people attended each camp. So, if you have a first hand knowledge please let us know!! East Coast Jazz? Revolution? Impulse? Raiders? Dutch Boy? so on...... Thanks for sharing.

I, too, am very disappointed in the behavior of the SPARTANS representative. I hope this does not filtrate down to the members of the corps. The SPARTANS organization is a class act...its too bad that some in attendance left the show with the wrong impression of their organization.
