Teal Sound received the Spirit of Disney for D2 but you didnt mention them. Would you be interested in talking to someone from Teal? I can put you in touch with the Director or Assistant Director. I am sure they would love to tell their story about the summer.

Give it a rest. Surf and Spartans were both very good and on that day the Spartans got the best of Surf. Deal with it.

Memphis must have been very good. I can hardly wait for the DVD's already. I didnt get a chance to see some of the D/3 corps and am really looking forward to it.

For Teal Sound- Highest ever finish (3rd place overall) 1st time capturing the Spirit of Disney Award Overall improvement of over 30 points in a year. (Form 59.6 to a 92.05) I would also venture (though not quite sure) that this is the most miles they have ever traveled in a summer. Tell us your corps milestones... D

Congratulations to the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps for earning the Gold Medal this year. I know you definitely earned it on the practice field because that Surf was definitely hot and Teal wasn't too shabby. D

John, I know I appreciate your efforts on the DCP site this past week.

Agree. I obviously dont care which corps wins but they are both very fine groups. What I am loving is the quality of the product these corps are putting out this year. Good luck to all the D2/3 finalists tomorrow.

Yes. I remember your post. I do think they have made significant strides. I knew the show concept and arrangements were there, but the corps is still young and they needed time to get their stride. I think they may have found it and hope they max out that show tomorrow. I think they will. Go Teal Sound.
