My first finals was 1991 with the Freelancers. I can still remember every detail of that week to this day. And everytime I watch the show it brings it all back again like it was yesterday. It is one of the reasons why I joined River City Regiments Senior Corp. The feeling of being in front of an audience screaming for you and the lights. It's an amazing feeling.

I am looking for pictures of the Freelancers from 1991- 1993. I recently ( last Sunday) had luggage stolen from my vehicle and all my pictures from these years were in there. :( If anyone has any please email me or put it here on the forum so I can please print it out. It would mean alot to me.

I know this may be a little early, but I was wondering if there are any winterguards in northern California besides the San Jose Raiders. I am 31 so high school is no longer an option!

I marched Freelancers from 91-93. I watched a bunch of others on tape when I was dating Scott Steward but don't remember them. So I have to say 91 was my favororite show. The Kiss was my favorite ballad. I loved Bells. And the guard uniforms in 91. Some other memories: Bus 7 always breaking down. Bus surfing in 93. Bus surfing not on the drum bus. The huge cockroaches in Tenn that could carry your luggage. The Pinkie Girls. Underwear runthrough. Those ugly yellow guard uniforms. Swimming at the high school in Utah in 91.

What is the age limit for Fever's winterguard?

I agree with the spin for flags and twirl for baton. I twirled baton for 15 years before I got into color guard. I was never a national champion, the closet I got was 3rd, but still not bad. It definatly helped when I got into sabre's. It was exactly like a baton for me. Blue Devils winterguard in 91-92 had alot of baton moves in their sabre section. And one of their instructors is a baton teacher.
