Year round school is not a big deal for most high school students, most schools will give the student work to do over the summer so they will not be too far behind after tour. As for the marching band issue for a lot of year round schools, most of them don't start putting the show together until the rest of the schools start band camp most of the time AFTER the drum corps season.

In 02 my first show was on the same day as my high school graduation (mid June). I went to school with some of the people I marched with who didn't graduate and they missed 3 weeks of the new school year because they were still on tour.

Div2 finals Cap Reg- 96.500 Magic- 99.050 Div1 quarterfinals Cap Reg- 79.300 Magic- 87.150 Div2 finals scores mean nothing when it comes to Div1 quarters. If you would have put Magic or Esperanza in Div2 this year they would have scored in the high 90's no doubt.

Esperanza did a full tour, as long or longer then the Mandarins

So I have Auditions next month and im playing a really cool very difficult audition piece but the only problem I have with it is that my fingers are too slow for all the runs! :( Can anyone tell me how to practice speeding my fingers up??? it would help me out mucho grande!

HAHAHA what a loser, there was a guy at my high school who said he marched contra for the cadets for three years, i was like um dude three years ago you were 12 in the 6th grade, now come on now lol. so yeah, I hate that too....dont lie, practice your ### off and march!!!!
