But it isn't enough to 'hire' SafeSport. DCI (yes Jeff, I know) will need to cede some power to SafeSport. Will be interesting to watch if/when the first incident plays out.
I think that other 50% will be up to good people whispering in the right employer's ears to make sure the unwanted people that SafeSport does not catch are just that... unwanted.
You don't always have to set the whole building on fire to get rid of a few pests.-

- I marched 5 years of DCI.
- Taught Star of Indiana and Phantom Regiment
- Judged DCI from 1988 to 2003 (left to teach Regiment)
- Became a part of the full time Directors at Regiment, Blue Stars (08), and then Carolina Crown.
- Judged for BOA, DCI, DCA, WGI and assign judges to invitationals and state contests all over the country.
- Board member of two drum corps over the years.

The Cadets were really good tonight in Annapolis. I hope the weather holds up for them for the rest of the week. Allentown will be on FIRE for them!

Good run for the Cadets. Some tiny stuff at the beginning that settled in. Music changes are very good. They look like a top 5 or 6 corps. If they keep cleaning, they should hold off those behind them.

Pet Peeve... And I am not aiming this at any one group in particular. All these guards (with one or two exceptions) are HUGE! But when you have flags, rifles, sabers, and dancers ... you end up with no more than 12 flags spinning the thing that can be seen the best on the field. It makes your 40+ guard look... SMALL!
