its not the fact of getting the stories straight but the fact of support. yes, we all know memphis is not in a stable position but its the members that make the corps, not the staff. this just shows how much of a family the open class corps r. i myself have been with this corps since 2004 and every year this happens "memphis isn't going to make it" "memphis doesn't have a chance" i've had to listen to all of it and we r still here. i have one more year and plan on staying bc these r the most dedicated kids i've seen this corps ever have, not only that but this corps has become my family. not a lot of kids find that n some drum corps and yes i've tried other places. we r still a young corps but we will not give up or at least i won't. to randy, thanks for the support. as a proud member of memphis sound i hope to see u on the road and possibly shake ur hand. its good to know other corps r behind us.

one question.... have YOU any of YOU ever been involved in the corps? those who have would know what pam has done. plus what happens within a corps is no one's business but the corps. memphis sound was in worse situations last year and what do u know they have a world championship title.

lets just say i can't wait till next summer. after marching with 90 people and having that "knock u off ur feet" sound its hard going back to a band of only 21 winds with woodwinds .
