This wood snare drum has an solid aluminum top bear edge that cannot cave in, just like the Mapex Quantum HT Snare Drum has. Snare system has horizontal and vertical controls with 12 snares, just like the Dynasty and Mapex marching snare drums do. The drum covering has yellowed and cracked just above the some of the lug casting as you can see. Design for j hook style drum carrier, tilt tubes on back. The lug casting have been modify to take higher tension. Top head is a used Remo Falam 2 and used Remo Falam snare side bottom. The drum has been waxed and cleaned and ready to play. Hey check this out, I just went and saw the movie Monster University, and the music was of a college music sound and used a lot through out the movie. The Blue Devils are listed as playing in it, Randy Newman the composer, " Newman added a unique flair to his score, calling on renowned international drum corps The Blue Devils to contribute a definitively collegiate sound". Black powered coated hardware with a plain weave all carbon fiber shell. 12 lugs with stainless steel tension rods and with stainless double washers. The snare system has 14 guts with on/off horizontal and vertical controls. This drum has Remo White Max top head and a Remo Falam bottom snare side head on the bottom. We were testing it out for the first time and was just listening to what it sounds like.

By Carson Gerber For the Pharos-Tribune March 11, 2013 Color guard founder charged with child exploitation Bob Worth faces court date in June PERU — The Miami County Sheriff Department is investigating a man who recently founded a drum and bugle group in Peru after authorities learned the man has been charged with child exploitation in Mississippi. Bob Worth, who said he’s an Indiana native who moved back to the area from Long Island, N.Y., began recruitment earlier this year for the group he calls Sound Vision Indiana. The community musical group was for all school-aged children. Members could participate in either the drum and bugle corps or color guard, and were required to pay a membership fee. The group met weekly for practice. However, Sheriff Tim Miller said they received a tip that Worth had been arrested in Biloxi, Miss., on child exploitation charges, which Miller confirmed Monday. According to court documents from Harrison County Circuit Court in Mississippi, Worth has a court date set on June 10 for the charge. Miller said Worth bonded out of jail last year after the initial arrest. Miller said according to Worth’s bonding agency in Mississippi, he had no travel restrictions placed on him and was allowed to leave the state. Miller said the corps was suspended last week after group members learned of the child exploitation charges and stopped attending practices. He said Worth is still in Peru as of this morning.
