If I am remembering correctly, there was a perfectly fine show in San Diego last season. An early season show in June. Sponsored by Esperanza, and held at Rancho Bernardo High School. I drove down to that one and it seemed to be well attended. But last year, Esperanza was still active.

Use the Monorail. You can get a 24 hour pass for $9.00. It's $5.00 for one trip. It goes from The Sahara to MGM and makes about six stops in between.
