  1. After watching the replay two times this morning/afternoon, what a show. Usually I have a few shows I really don't like, but these past few years have been pretty ###### impressive for entertainment value for me (again, your mileage may vary). Between seeing the Akron show at the theater and Stanford on FN, bravo to all of the corps, continue going in this entertaining direction. Anyone know if DCI will be offering APDs for this show? Overall,
  2. Congratulations Cadets! What a design, and what a performance. I watched most of the finals videos this morning, and the fans definitely won this year. To all of the corps... more of the same next year!
  3. Blue Devils - 1986 Bluecoats - 1989 The Cavaliers - 1986 Phantom Regiment - 1989 Carolina Crown - 1995 The Cadets - 1984 Boston Crusaders - 2000 Blue Stars - 2009 Santa Clara Vanguard - 1987 Madison Scouts - 1995 Blue Knights - 1993 Colts - 1993 Troopers - 1986 Spirit of Atlanta - 1986 Crossmen - 1990 Velvet Knights - 1988 Star of Indiana - 1990 Suncoast Sound - 1988
  4. Thanks Devils, love your show this year.
  5. I'll be listening to both shows in the long run, the Cadets have a much better show. In this case, the GE numbers are correct
  6. Because # of drill sets isn't equivocal to visual general effect.
  7. Bravo, Cadets. Now I have to go back to being a BD honk
  8. Shades of 2005, absolutely mesmerizing.
  9. The Cadets introduced me to 'to tame the perilous skies'. 'Angels in the architecture' is now one of my favorite pieces as well. Go Cadets!
  10. Nice isolated attacks, cavies. in tune and perfectly together
  11. After Corpsband remarked 'The Ents are going to war' about the stilts, I still laugh when I see them.
  12. Prepare for the 'most drill sets wins' argument, regardless of placements.
  13. I still prefer the Devils' version of keith emerson's piano concerto in 85. I guess it was a bit more raw sounding.
  14. That brass sound... not quite taking a bath in chocolate, but it's pretty darned good
  15. Nice show, Phantom. Going on after the Bluecoats threw down didn't help. (IMO, of course)
  16. Holy crap... the Bluecoats have improved so much in a week!
  17. So what will be the next carnival performer? that was pretty sad
