Kinda ... they are clean and powerful .. but I don't always agree with the writing. Much like the past, there isn't a ton of stylistic support to the brass book. crownbass Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 When I saw both BD and PR in Columbia, MO 2 weeks ago, it was no contest. Phantom had a much cleaner, musical book, as I would expect from Paul. I'm not really sure how they dropped from a strong 1st the last 3 weeks, or so, down to 3rd. At any rate, PR had my favorite book to listen to both in the lot and on the field. BD's book sounded like an exercise when I heard it on it's own.
