rochguardguy
You're too good at this Chris! : )) It is easy to remember when all three of those guards were in your own local circuit...I can still remember when Canandagua beat Whitman for the very first time ever...DRAMA! Jak
New question. What guards have placed in the top 3 of all 3 classes A, Open and World? I'm not sure there have been any. Not that I can think of anyway. Most of the top 3 world guards in recent years have been in World Class for a long time. And of course, there was no Open Class prior to 1993. Anybody else find one? Jeremy Denzer
Keep looking... Their is at least 2 IW guards and 1 SW guard that have done this. Keep in mind they do not need to be current world class units.

Jak
Correct!! Fantasia got silver in IA 1991, gold in IO 1995 and numerous gold, silver and bronze in IW. Eureka! Raiders and St. Ann's have both done it. However, both of those have multiple units, so not sure if that counts...
Jak
I can't find any SW guards. Pope, Arcadia, and Avon all medaled in SO and SW but not SA.
Jeremy Denzer
Carroll HS did it, but in a strange order. 1994 and 1995 SW Bronze. 1998 SA Gold and 1999 SO Silver.
Jeremy Denzer
I forgot about Raiders (1997 IA 1990-1994 IO 1994 IW 2003 IW) I was thinking of St Anns. What a track record this organization has. 1993 IA Silver 1995 IO Silver 1996 IA Gold 1999 IA Silver 2000 IW Silver and IO Gold 2001 IW Silver and IO Gold 2002 IW Bronze

Keep in mind they do not need to be current world class units. They haven't done it in World class yet, but Eastburg High School medaled in SA and the next year medaled in SO. Last year was their first year in World class. How many other guards have medaled in consecutive years when moving up a class?
