When we (users) post an announcement, it generally gets shuffled off to an announcements forum. Is DCP exempt from their own rules? Not sure why this bugs me, but it does. :) Edited October 25, 2007 by randomnoise
Jami
I believe Mike New addressed this in your other thread. http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...t&p=2057695 Also, I believe that by doing a search, this already exists in the DCI announcement forum, however it hasn't been posted on in awhile. contrajedi8
Sounds fairly ho-hum to me. Except for Cloudburst. That piece is pretty much the shasta.

Nope. There is only an announcement of the SCV Cadets 2008 show, and it was posted by their director. Also, there are no DCP Newsfeed announcements in the announcement forum. They are all in here (or in the DCA discussion forum).
Jami
I would say take it to PM with Mike.

ContrasAreFun
One word. STOCK.It will be interesting to see if they can match last year's 5th place finish with this show. Just out of curiosity, how could it be "stock" if nobody has ever played these songs (except 2000 Patriots) in the drum corps setting? Phillip Glass and Eric Whitacre have not been performed before????? It's high school concert band music once again.
