DMCK
Wow...that's pretty darn cheap for a drum corps. I hope people definitely take advantage of your offer. On the program side, if you're interested in checking us out, January 5th is a great time to do it. The brass and percussion will be walking away from that rehearsal with well over half the show in their hands. You'll come away with a really good idea of what direction the corps is going, what is expected of the members of Fusion, and how hard the staff is going to work to help everyone be absolutely the best they can be at what they do. We hope to see you there, and we wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season. One of the great things about drum corps (and there are many great things) is that, while we are competitive people and will battle hard against one another all summer long, as soon as the uniforms are off we're one big drum corps family. Have a great end to 2007, and may 2008 bring you happiness and health. Edited December 21, 2007 by DMCK
DMCK
On behalf of the Fusion Family, I hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. With the new year approaching, the staff, administration, and membership of Fusion is eagerly awaiting our camp on January 5th. We had such an incredible turn out on December 1st at our open house, but the time has come to really kick this thing into high gear. If you're interested in marching but have reservations with getting involved with a second year drum corps, that's understandable. There's no tradition to look at...no historical context to refer to. We may be young as an organization, but there's a ton of experience here. Fusion is run like a corps that has been around for decades. We're an organization on a mission to provide a world-class drum corps experience to each and every member, and to produce a championship-caliber program. This is the goal, and we have the plan in place to make it happen...THIS year. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor of something amazing! You have the unique opportunity to write history...to create a legacy...to set the bar by which all other Fusion "cores" in the future will be measured. So come check it out. We have lofty goals for 08 and beyond. Come see what we're all about. Take us for a test drive, kick the tires a bit, and see if this is a train worth jumping on. I and many others feel that it is, but only you can decide for yourself. Make an educated decision on where you're going to march this summer. January 5th - 10am-6pm @ Rahway HS. Worried about money? Just come. Worried about time commitment? Just come. Worried about whether or not you're good enough to march drum corps? JUST COME. Be a part of history in the making...JOIN THE FUSION REVOLUTION! Email me or fill out our form at http://fusioncorenj.homestead.com/Membership.html for more information.
DMCK
...and seriously...our dues are stupidly cheap. You definitely get way more than what you pay for with Fusion. $3 for lunch too. Silly cheap. Plus, if you live in the Philadelphia region, be it in PA or New Jersey down there...there will be a couple stops by the FUSION TRAIN (um...van) so you don't have to worry about driving. Same deal with other points in Pennsylvania. More on that to come. Lodging? Yeah...several awesome options there too. Contact us for details. You ask the question, we have the answers...and at the end of the day I'm certain that you'll be impressed with the organization and what we're willing and able to do for our incredible members. This is a corps that loves its members, and shows them in many ways. You'll be amazed.
FlamNCheez
Reasonable dues is not all, Chris! Last year, the corps became a cohesive (on and off the field), hard-working group in a very short period of time. The people are great from top to bottom! We were fortunate to fill the keys roles needed to complete the talented staff that we have. 2008 is shaping up to be a great year. Looking forward to the 5th!
