Peel Paint
Yes, in January! Extremely unusual for northern Illinois to have such severe weather at this time of year, but it's been over 60 degrees the last two days, and a cold front is approaching to bring a return to winter air. Funnel clouds passed over the Loves Park/MacHesney Park area and then touched down about 15 miles to the east-northeast in Poplar Grove and proceeded up to Harvard, Illinois, where Phantom normally performs an early-season exhibition for Milk Days. http://www.rrstar.com/homepage/x469069748 I'm seeing live TV that shows barns down, rooves off houses, and train cars blown over. Not a severe tornado, but bad enough. No word of serious damage in the Regiment Hall area at this time.

madalumni
Hey, no need to bring politics into this. Not George W. Bush - they meant Bush, as in the Bushwackers...it's their fault! But we do need to move this to the All Age forum.
