i heard from someone
A point is made in the proposal that with the time corps have to spend making marchers proficient, potentially getting another season out of them is a better return on the investment of the corps staff. while i don't really have a feeling on this particular proposal either way, i have to wonder is it really supposed to be about the investment of the staff? Piper
I think that I'm paraphrasing rather than quoting, but I remember one kid saying something like : "It's probably a good thing that they make us age out, or some of us would be here forever". DCA is different. It's not based on a touring model and is structured to accomodate older members. DCI is not.
