The 2008 TARGETS Drum & Bugle Corps from Springfield, Massachusetts have a few openings for musicians and color guard members to complete their 2008 roster. Contact Targets Corps Director Dave Covington at: 413-348-6040 to find out more.

WEEKEND OF MAY 24- 26th

Saturday, May 24th: Full Corps

Time: 9:00 am - 9:00 P.M.

Sunday, May 25th: Full Corps

Time: Local Parade, then rehearsal.

Monday, May 16th: Full Corps

Time: Memorial Day Parade in Torrington, CT. Meet at Eastfield Mall 7:00 a.m.

BRASS:

1 Soprano (Lead / Soloist)

1 - 2 Baritones

PERCUSSION:

Front Ensemble Mallet players: There is some outstanding keyboard work in the "13th Warrior" Show written by Jeff Hope.

You got chops? Come on down!

COLOR GUARD:

FEATURE DANCER

Seeking members with weapon experience who can toss at least quads on rifle and saber.

Flag experience is not required; skills will be taught.

Develop your performance skills with the Targets! Plenty of opportunity to shine in this show!

ASSISTANT DRUM MAJOR - there has been interest in this position.

TRUCK DRIVER

SUPPORT STAFF

NOTE: Members should prepare for all types of weather – warm, cold or brutally hot. Bring rain gear. Bring an extra set of clothing and socks/shoes to change into if necessary. Wear a hat while in the sun. Pack sunscreen and bug repellent. Although water will be available at the rehearsal field, we strongly recommend that each member brings a personal water jug or drink bottle.
