Diceman
One of the Co-Founders of Loudcity was invited to provide written testimony for a Congressional Hearing today... Here's part of what he wrote: ----- "For the Record of the June 11, 2008 Hearing on H.R. 4789, The "Performance Rights Act" U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Courts, the Internet and Intellectual Property June 11, 2008" <...> "We've been told the diversity we offer dilutes and devalues music. We offer outlets for barber shop quartets, drum core/marching band, local music, ethnic communities, amateur talk/new, nostalgic eras and much more. Who is already fulfilling this need? It's not serviced by media consolidation through Clear Channel and Entercom." <...> ----- Ok, so he spelled "corps" wrong, but drum corps is mentioned! Heh...
