PR_ducky
I was thinking that same thing when I saw the scores on the DCI website. The first time since Star (a corps that doesn't even exist anymore, mind you) that The Cavies, Blue Devils, or Cadets haven't won the whole thing. It's unbelievable how these programs can be so good that they completely dominated the activity for over a decade. Something I don't think alot of people realize is that in 37 years of DCI only 8 corps have won Kingsmen 72 SCV 73, 74, 78, 81, 89, 99 Madison 75, 88 Blue Devils 76, 77, 79, 80, 82, 86, 94, 96, 97, 99, 03, 07 Cadets 83, 84, 85, 87, 90, 93, 98, 00, 05 Star 91 Cavies 92, 95, 00, 01, 02, 04, 06 Regiment 96,

Mason Dixon
Wow, that sucks. I thought there were some VERY entertaining shows from 2000-2007. Sucks that it takes Phantom to win for people to actually buy a DVD, yet people keep talking about how DCI is losing money. As one of those who will be a new buyer this year (though unlike some others, I've never purchased the DVDs) it's not about Phantom winning, but rather about an incredibly strong crop of shows that I'd love the opportunity to see over and over.
