What a great idea! Encouraging your members to perform in a winterguard, while at the same time recruiting. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this a similar deal as was with State Street Review, at least while Sal was on staff with Scouts in the late 70's through some of the 80's?

At any rate, getting your members to be in a winterguard that has similar staff, and performance opportunities at more times of the year can not be a bad thing.

What I can't wait for though is those people that think the Scouts are going to have girls in the guard because the winterguard is coed. For those of you that may want to light that fire, go to the Scouts audition page and see how they are looking for 150 good men, or something to that idea.

Anyway, great idea!!!

I'm sure there won't be any girls auditioning for Madison's guard. I'm also sure that they're only looking for "good" men. It's a very loyal group (after all, they never leave their buddies behind). Splooey!

As an alum, I don't think they would change the make-up of the corps, I just was writing that for those people that may troll these forums and make that assumption.
