As usual, it's at Western High School in Anaheim, CA and starts at 1 PM and goes until 5 PM. Map is here: http://tinyurl.com/9eny2n If you're on the fence, now would be a good time to check out the corps. It's a very cool show and you don't want to miss out on it. This will be a full corps rehearsal and we will be learning more of this extremely cool drill. There are still openings in all areas of the corps, so come on down and check us out. Tomorrow, Sunday January 18th is our next rehearsal. It will be from 1pm-5pm at Western HS- and it will be a great one!! Any Drum Corps fans at NAMM?-Come on down and check us out! Western HS is just 4 miles from the Anaheim Convention Center. Head down Katella, then take a right on Beach Blvd. Follow Beach for a short time, and take a left on Orange Ave. The school is on the corner of Western and Orange Ave. Forecast is Sunny and 78 degrees-Perfect Condtions. We plan on marching and learning a good portion of the Opener drill tomorrow.-So as we say in Southern Calfornia- "Good times". Hope to see you there! Dmlkmen Posted March 8, 2009 Share Posted March 8, 2009 (edited) We have had some great rehearsals the past few weeks. Taking advantage of the warm weather here in SoCal, we have already learned our opening drill (Jet Song). We are anticipating learning the drill for our second piece, America, very soon. Most of the music is complete. Jet Song, America, Mambo, Maria, and Somewhere, are all currently being learned by the hornline. Ralph Hardimon's percussion book accompanying these arrangements, is amazing. We have posted an animated drill for Jet Song. as well as music to America on our website. There you will find the link, as well as information on all things Kingsmen, We are all looking forward to our DCI evaluation on March 29th- and hopefully adding another all-age corps to the West Coast scene. For those of you attending local Southern California Winter Guard and Drumline shows- The Kingsmen have been present with information booths in the vendor areas. Our next stop for the indoor season, will be Aliso Niguel HS this Saturday, March 14, for their Winter Drumline show. Stop by and see our booth, and for information on our upcoming season.
