Kansan Posted September 19, 2010 Share Posted September 19, 2010 Prairie Sound was invited by the Salvation Army to play the National Anthem at the 9/11/2010 Patriot Run at the Great Mall in Olathe, KS. We played "The Star Spangled Banner" for around 200 Runners and Spectators before the run. Our Ensemble Consisted of 2 Sopranos, 1 Mellophone, 2 Baritones, 1 Snare Drum and a Drum Major. We are looking at playing with the Salvation Army Band for another Marathon coming up and up to 3 Kettle Appearances. I posted two pics on our site of the crew that played for the event.
