SG Director
The Standish Guards of Plymouth has a small but very enthusiastic drum line that would like to compete in the upcoming Bugler's Hall of Fame mini-corps competitions. If you play horn and live near Plymouth County and would like to do something this winter, stop by our practice, send us an email, pm or call our message line and help us bring drum corps to Plymouth. We have an easy schedule every other Sunday at the Civil Air Patrol building located at Plymouth Airport from 11am to 1pm, (great place to practice at an airport!) easy but fun songs and a low rehearsal fee. The drumline has a street beat, 2 solos and is currently working on 2 charts. Even though we are a new corps and we don't have the latest equipment, we do have fun and we hope to grow this corps and have a few surprises over the next couple of seasons. Regardless of how many members we have, we will always try to compete when we can, and if we don't have enough members for mini-corps we will still be in the I&E. Color Guard members are also encourged to join! Practice schedule, Nov 28th, Dec 5th and 19th. If you are in Plymouth this weekend for the big parade and show, stop by our table during the parade at Thunderbolt Music located next to the Post Office on Main St and say hi. Thanks and take care!
