Michael Boo
Download of the Week: 1985 Troopers This week only, you can save on 1985 World Championship Audio and Video Performance Downloads on the DCI Fan Network. Click on the above link for further info. PS: The first 30 weeks of Download of the Week is going to feature as many of the 30 different corps I can work in from the 1975-2008 DCI World Championship Finals. It won't be possible to work in all the corps during the first 30 weeks as I would be repeating years for the bundle offers. After that, I'll catch the corps that haven't been included yet and also fill in the few years not previously covered. This will give fans an opportunity in the next several months to download all the bundles at a discount. TerriTroop
I was hoping you would spread the word about the "Download of the Week" through Trooperdom. It's already out there on Facebook. Current members and alumni alike are sharing the info. I'll also post it to the message boards, if it's not already there. Edited to add: posted, and then I bought Suncoast 85 too because it's one of my all time favorite shows! (along with many others that I already have.) mellodcd
How did they go from the cactus flags to the trooper flags in the sunburst? Trooper magic. . .No, but seriously I wondered the same thing. I think they somehow tucked the flag into the pole, because the pole looks pretty large. Anybody know for sure? bearwy
The flag trick was done by using a retractable sleeve hiding the crossed sabre silk. The sleeve is taped to the center of the pole then slid over the cactus silk to reveal the other one.
