Looks like you're getting your wish. ;)

Blue Knights stopped using bent leg in 2010.

Has anyone seen this blog that's becoming popular?

Changes Made Only For Finals..

2007 Bluecoats the person running away with the case is wearing an old uniform as opposed to the regular guard uniform at the end of the show. -
Honestly, it's their own fault. They shouldn't post show hints and announcements on their website with numerical file names.

Thanks!

Are you going to do every corps eventually?

Was anyone at camp? How was it?

Everybody starts somewhere.

The guy starting it runs a successful show design website so it is very possible. http://www.precisionmarchingdesign.com/ Good luck.

2007 was the last time DCI was on ESPN.

I liked Troopers homage to the Cadets in their 2009 show with the Tonight ensemble while facing backfield.
-
Saying it now. Troopers are making finals next year.
-
Pretty sure that's not true.
-
Phantom Regiment 2007 has a tuba hole because the girl got injured during finals week.
-
No doubt, Troopers were one of the corps I liked watching march because their technique was more consistent than other corps around them.

They really only had Bon Jovi at the beginning of the show, some quotes in the opener, the company front (which was actually very cool), and the end. Other than that they didn't really play Bon Jovi that much during that show.

The only person who left after 2009 was the brass caption head. The staff exodus really happened after 2010 with a new design team. I think that happened because the design team had an "off" year with that show and really just didn't get another chance. As for "going broke", I don't think that would happen. Troopers corps director knows better than that.

We saw what Fred Morris did after coming to the corps in 2006. He's not ****ing around.
-
Hmmm, Donnie Van Doren goes to Troop and Sully leaves BK. Is it possible Sully is going to Troop?
-
I hope they keep the instructional staff (at least visually), but get rid of the design team. I believe some of their design team is also teaching so we'll see.

Why did that corps play THAT SHOW?
DCIfan90 replied to Kevin Powell's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Blue Knights 2001 - I think this corps is still recovering from this show. The Academy 2008 - That show was just way too hard. Cadets 2006 - I'm not a fan of sequel shows or shows referencing the previous season. Cadets 2008 - Talented corps, but that design could have been better. Cascades 2009 - We know you were coming back from a year off, but don't do it with a show that was designed for an 18th place corps to move up. I loved their 2009 show, but it was designed for a more talented corps. Crossmen 2009 - It was Twilight. Plain and simple. Phantom Regiment 2009 - No. Madison Scouts 2009 - Design wasn't up to par, and the drill was difficult to clean. Spirit 2009 - The rest of the thread pretty much covered it. Cavaliers 2012 - I think they did their best working with what they had. Troopers 2010 - Same thing about Cadets 2005. "Oh we have a target on our backs, we're WANTED." Yeah we get it, and then you tried to do the whole "exploring different kinds of wanting things" which didn't work so then you just changed it to a "light vs dark" show. I thought this was the red headed stepchild show for this corps until... Troopers 2012 - Yeah... I hope this corps can get it together and do something on par with Madison the past couple years.
