We are attempting to start an Open class corps in Austin, TX. Our application to the Pepsi Refresh grant program has been accepted, and all we need are your votes to help us get the startup funds for this group. Two: visit http://refresheverything.com/austinstarspaa (or this shortcut: http://pep.si/jJSgL7 ) and click the “vote for this idea” button. This method requires that you create an account on Pepsi’s “refresh everything” website, but you can also find other causes to vote for. You can vote using both methods one time per day (2 votes total per day, per person). Voting lasts until the end of June. Texas is a HUGE state with more bands and musical talent than it knows what to do with. Corps don't hold camps there just for the heck of it. We just had someone use a 50 vote cap for us! We need all the votes we can get to provide horns and front ensemble equipment for this corps! Every vote counts! I march with the Muchachos Drum and Bugle Corps in Manchester NH...would you consider voting for us? We are in the $25K tier trying to replacing aging instruments (some of the horns are 30 years old). I would love to see corps in all the leader spots...that would be amazing!
