  2. I am a lucky mom...I got to introduce my daughter to drum corps and march with her for two seasons 2009 & 2010. This year she moves on to junior corps and I couldn't be more proud. The past two summers have been wonderful gift for a mom of a seventeen year old girl.
  3. We are a small group of drum corps alumni, marching members and enthusiasts in the New England area that decided to throw party a couple of times a year and celebrate drum corps. We find a place and get together to watch our favorite performances, chat and enjoy some great company. We call it “An Evening of Drum Corps” and we encourage anyone who is a drum corps enthusiast to attend, no matter what age you are or what era of corps you love, you will have a great time. 7. Sometimes the power voting is a little quirky. Did you get the code entered finally? You have to vote after every code you enter and you can enter up to 10 codes a day.
  8. Sorry about missing you guys...I thought I typed it in. I did include everyone in my original message... I vote for all the drum corps ideas everyday...text and online! Sorry

  13. Don't forget to vote for the Corps in the Pepsi Refresh project...Unfortunately they are all slipping further from the leader spots! $25K Tier (top 15 ideas get funded) Muchachos – Manchester, NH http://pep.si/jnJOik text 106871 Genesis – Edinburg, TX http://pep.si/kaneX9 Text 106785 Fusion Core - Rockaway, NJ http://pep.si/mNJZcF text 106817 $50K Tier (top 10 ideas get funded) Troopers – Casper, WY http://pep.si/ju3pIq text 106974 6th Street Regiment – Austin, TX (Start up open class) http://pep.si/jJSgL7 text 107041
  14. Good Luck to my Bridgemen friends and have fun! It's going to be great and I wish I could be there. See you soon :) Carolyn
  15. *Bump.... The Corps NEED YOUR VOTES! Please help them win! If we can vote for corps to win the "Chase" we can do the same for the corps in the Pepsi Refresh Project!
  16. I really hope the corps in the Refresh project make it! I vote everyday for them. I am having a hard time understanding how, the drum corps community at large isn't taking the few minutes each day to vote for the corps. I can't believe the five corps are in the leader spots. If they can vote for corps to win on the "Chase" how come the corps (Troopers, Genesis, Fusion Core, Muchachos & 6th Street) are having such a hard time rally supporters to vote? Truly boggles my mind...I just look back at the "Chase" winners so many votes...I just don't get it. These are the corps in the Refresh project: $25K Tier (top 15 ideas get funded) Muchachos – Manchester, NH http://pep.si/jnJOik text 106871 Genesis – Edinburg, TX http://pep.si/kaneX9 Text 106785 Fusion Core - Rockaway, NJ http://pep.si/mNJZcF text 106817 $50K Tier (top 10 ideas get funded) Troopers – Casper, WY http://pep.si/ju3pIq text 106974 6th Street Regiment – Austin, TX (Start up open class) http://pep.si/jJSgL7 text 107041
  17. Thank you so much! We truly appreciate the support!
  18. I would love to see all of us out there doing what we do best entertaining. It's programs like this that can really help out with finances. Its so easy, supporters don't have to buy anything and members don't have to sell. Its a no brainer! We are trying to purchase some new(er) horns...some of ours are 30 years old I truly believe that if we commit to this in can happen, but we need the votes from everyone. I would love to see the four corps in the top spots...that is my goal. Of course I will vote for you guys, everyday! Voting DONE! Online and Text
  19. You are welcome. This stuff is important and we all need to support each other to work toward keeping drum corps alive and well. I march in two all age exhibition corps and enjoy every minute of it.
  20. Well now that I have your attention I know that lately we have been hearing a lot about voting (seems like it has been non-stop) and the support shown by everyone has been amazing. Please allow me to impose on you once more for continued support in the form in voting to keep drum corps activities funded! The Pepsi Refresh project contributes millions of dollars each year and over $1 Million dollars each month to various ideas to refresh local communities. The awards are made to the ideas that get the most votes all month long. This month there are four drum corps and a start up (open class) project in the Refresh Project! That is outstanding! The fact that four corps and a start up could get funding that would allow them to purchase new equipment, feed their members, fuel their buses or just operate just tickles me pink I challenge the drum corps community to put these ideas in the TOP SPOTS! It is up to all of us to see that drum corps succeed and we can do it by voting everyday. I have provided the links for each corps idea below as well at their number for text voting. If you can’t get to your computer to vote online, you can vote by texting the numbers noted for each corps to 73774. You can vote using your Facebook login or you can create an account at www.refresheverything.com. Please, let’s put drum corps where it belongs...at the TOP! 23. You guys have my votes everyday (online & text)! I march with the Muchachos Drum and Bugle Corps in Manchester NH...would you consider voting for us? We are in the $25K tier trying to replacing aging instruments (some of the horns are 30 years old). I would love to see corps in all the leader spots...that would be amazing! Link to our refresh page http://pep.si/jnJOik text 106871 Thanks and I will keep voting!
  24. The Troopers have the support of the Muchachos! Right now the Troopers are in 21st and the Muchachos are in 65 place (YIKES)! I really hope we can move these two organizations into leader spots! Only the top ten in the 50K (Troopers) and top 15 in the 25K (Muchachos) are awarded money.
