SG Director Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 The Standish Guards of Plymouth, MA has a small but growing and enthusiastic drumline that would really like to compete as a mini-corps in 2012 and is seeking any brass players, regardless of experience, in the Plymouth county area. We will be rehearsing on Tuesday evenings, location tba, and possibly an additional one Sunday a month. The drumline has been actively competing in Bugler's Hall of Fame and DCA for the past 2 years. We are really trying to make that jump from competitive drumline to a mini-corps for the upcoming BHoF competitions and beyond. We may not be the biggest and baddest drumline out there but we are determined and committed to making this work and have fun doing so! I can tell you that we will go to as many competitions as we can including Annapolis next year. We may do a parade or two, but our main focus is competition and just trying to be as good as we can, something we can be proud of. So if anyone is in the area and interested, drop me a line.
