Percussion caption head and arranger, Chris Romanowski said "I am extremely excited about the talent level here in our percussion staff. The staff members bring a wealth of knowledge about the activity and percussion in general. Each member has had great success with their own programs, and to have so many people who have dedicated their lives to percussion education, it is going to help us to develop an exciting, talented percussion program here at CV. (listed in alphabetical order) Please check out the Educational Staff menu for complete bios. | Consulting | Mr. Anthony Cananzi, Jr. is the Assistant Band Director at Barber Middle School in Cobb County, Georgia. He is also the head of percussion studies at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. He earned a Master of Music in Percussion Performance degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. | Snare Technician | Mr. Corey King Sajous is a graduate of Wheeler High School where he studied percussion with Chris Romanowski. Corey has also marched with Quest Indoor and Alliance Drum Corps, and most recently Corey was a member of the WGI World Champion Music City Mystique snare line. | Quads and Full Ensemble | Mr. Eric Brown is a graduate of the University of Georgia and earned his Masters in Music Performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Mr. Brown has served as quad tech for the Colts Drum and Bugle corps as well as instructor for Odyssey Percussion Theatre, UGA Drum Line, Gateway Percussion, and currently works as Director of Percussion at Flowery Branch and Lambert High schools. Mr. Brown also holds the position as adjunct percussion professor at Young Harris College. | Front Ensemble | Mr. Erik Kosman moved to Georgia from Michigan to pursue a degree in Music Education at Kennesaw State University. He has been involved with marching percussion for 8 years. Erik participated in indoor percussion for 5 years with NorthCoast Academy PIW. He marched 6 years in DCI, four of which were with the Bluecoats, two of those years as co-section leader. | Front Ensemble | Mr. J.T. Snell is a graduate of Loganville High School and is currently an Early Childhood Education major at the University of West Georgia. His marching experience includes four years of high school marching and symphonic band, one summer with Court of Honor Drum and Bugle Corps in 2004, and one summer with Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007. He also performed with Atlanta Quest in 2005, Odyssey Percussion Theatre in 2006, 2008, and 2009, and Terminus Atlanta Percussion in 2011.
