Latrobe's Finest Posted June 19, 2012 Share Posted June 19, 2012 I am proud to announce the launch of our major fundraiser: Shenandoah Sound Brass Upgrade We are seeking to raise at least $5,000 to complete our brass line (new Bb King horns). We are using the social media platform Indiegogo. Everyone who donates will receive special recognition on our website and Facebook page. In addition, anyone who donates before July 5 will get special recognition in our program book for "Sound of the South" on July 7. Just like public broadcasting, we have perks for donations including show tickets, shirts, and other corps logo items. In the past few years, corps like Southwind and SoCal Dream have raised a lot of money on social media fundraising sites-we are hoping to repeat their success.
