Carol Munro, who played xylophone in the Oakland Crusaders from 1975 to 1978 died on Saturday. It was cancer. Carol was a great friend to many and gave the Oakland Crusaders drum line a musical identity that was second to none, virtually all by herself since she was the only xylophone player.

RIP.

Coincidentally, there is a current thread here on DCP ( labeled " could it happen ? " ) commenting on the amazing Oakland Crusaders 1st place Percussion line in the 1977 DCI Prelims.
