EMStar85 Posted November 3, 2003 Share Posted November 3, 2003 (edited) Revolution is pleased to announce the inaugural season of Revolution Winter Ensemble. This new step for the Revolution organization will begin 16 Nov with open auditions being held at Stony Point HS in Round Rock, TX from 1-7 PM. RWE will present their program “On the Brink”, a chilling look at insanity, in TCGC competition around the Austin and Houston areas. Even though RWE will not attend WGI Finals its first year, the unit plans to compete in the Houston Regional. Headed by Kyle Arwine and Kris Hartman, RWE will continue the excellence in drumming that has become synonymous with Revolution. RWE plans on putting the following mix on the floor this season: 8 snares, 5 tenors, 5 basses, 4 cymbals, and 10 pit (including drumset and electric bass) So there are plenty of opportunities for you to march with us! Those interested in joining RWE for the 03/04 season should plan on being at Stony Point HS (Map Here) from 1-7 PM on 16 Nov. Audition/Registration fee will be $30 and will be applied towards your membership fee if selected to join. Instruments are provided, but please bring pads, sticks, and/or mallets with you to the audition. Audition packets will be posted soon on the RWE Webpage.
