snareplayadelmuere Posted December 3, 2003 Share Posted December 3, 2003 Watched the old DCI Vids past couple of days and brings back my dreams of being in a Corps one day. Reason i didnt try out this year is i JUST got hired at a local best buy for round 9 bucks an hour (not bad for a 17 year old as a first job) so i decided to take this summer off. Watching those tapes just brought back all the reasons why i wanted to do it so bad. And to watch the Blue Devils 2003 show w/all those solos/duets/phat licks by the snares gives me goosebumps, sheer GOOSEBUMPS! Idk, im gonna keep playin, and was wondering if there are any books out there i should look into buying. I have Stick Control and Accents and Rebounds by Stone...i have Violent Ice Cream...I got Rudimental Cookbook and Just Desserts. Any more i should look at buying??
