Machine
Do corps ever water down their hornlicks early in the season in order to improve their scores while working on the harder licks in practice for use later in the season? The reason I ask is because I just downloaded a recording of Heat of the Day from the Crossmen's January camp and then another one from a week or so ago. They have totally watered down the run going into the first hit. Personally, I think it sounds pedestrian now compared to the original. Hopefully they'll bring the original version back in later this summer?? Please?! Don't get me wrong, the new version sounds great but it's so bland compared to the way it was originally written (short run into a couple of chords now as opposed to the original massive run into a chord progression). Blaringbrass
I think they do that to get the music on the field without if falling apart when accompanied with drill. They will bring it back, hopefully.....
