byline
A whole lotta great history here! Scanned pages from De La Salle's 50th anniversary book: Del's 50th
jimwolf359
WOW!! ^OO^ That is really amazing. I had no idea that De La Salles history was so deep and rich. There is so little that those of us "South of the Border" know about this great Corps. I never got a chance to see them. :( . I only saw the merger corps that was formed in the winter of 1975. The Etobicoke Oakland Crusaders. Jim Wolf
byline
I really knew only the history that Joel Alleyne (you'd remember him as Oakland's drum major) and other corps members who'd marched with Del told me. Thanks to my own flaky memory, that was all pretty sketchy in my mind. I knew Del traced its history back to a cadet corps, but I really didn't know many of the details. That's why this book is so fascinating. And what fantastic photos! I think I'll print out these pages just to have them as a reference.
