rockhound967
I have been looking at the kelly version of the Helleburg to play on my contra. I was wondering if any of you guys have played this mouthpiece and what you think of it???
J.C.
Just read through the thread, and "DCM Webmaster" summed it up pretty well! (Good job Dan). I have a black Kelly M6 mellophone mouthpiece that I use when it's cold out. I played it in a St. Patrick's Day Parade in March with temps in the 40s, and I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. But I wouldn't use it all the time because of that "vibratory feedback" at certain pitches that Dan talked about. I noticed that, too. I keep my Kelly in the car and buzz on it on my way to and from work everyday. I don't have to worry about it getting wrecked, and if it does, I can afford another one. B) Edited May 18, 2004 by J.C.
