DCIFanOfAllDivisions
What are the major differences in a larger bell tubas say Dynasty 20" .710" bore (BD i think) v/s a 15" Jupiter bell .709" bore (Memphis Sound uses) does it change that much of the low depth voice? BlooooContra
The BD contras are great sounding. Larger the bell, the better. I recommend the newly redesigned Yamahas as well.
rockhound967
The smaller bell horns just don't have that resinate dark sound because there is less metal vibrating.
