The winning ticket will be drawn at the annual Gulf Coast Sound Board of Directors meeting to be held in October, 2004.

Represent your Corps at the 8th Annual Drum Corps All-Star Mardi Gras Weekend on Galveston Island

The Gulf Coast Drum Corps Association and Gulf Coast Sound Drum & Bugle Corps are proud to host the event. Participation is open to past and present members of any drum corps. Previous All-Star Drum Corps have included members of the Caballeros, Carolina Gold, Cavaliers, Bluecoats, CorpsVets, Syracuse Brigadiers, Empire Statesmen, Erie Thunderbirds, Heat Wave, Kilties, Madison Scouts, Mighty St. Joes, Minnesota Brass, Inc., Santa Clara Vanguard, Bayou City Blues, and many others.

The weekend will begin with a Friday evening rehearsal followed by a welcoming party catered with good food and drink. We'll load the charter bus Saturday morning and head to the historic Strand District of Galveston Island (Galveston.com) for the Z- Krewe Processional (Zkrewe.com). After the parade you'll be admitted to the festival area free of charge to enjoy the celebration. Saturday evening the massed- corps will perform in the Krewe of Gambrinus (KreweofGambrinus.org) Seawall Parade. This infamous trek includes almost four miles of the beautiful Texas Coast and 300,000 spectators!
