I was surfin yesterday and saw the staff MAGIC has put together...WOW Anyway...Who do you think has the best brass staff in DCI? Look at this line-up, its hard to beat I must say. Brass Arranger: Wayne Downey Caption Head: Gino Cirpriani (ex Cadets)...wow Tech: Tommy Santino (ex Boston)...wow Tech: Ben Harloff (Blast)...wow Tech: Steve Visnage (ex Colts)...wow Tech: Dwight Parsons I might just give them a try, could be a fun ride all summer with this group, I'd have to say, I'd put them up against any staff in DCI. Lance (ageout 02 and contra monster) ^:) Not ever hearing of anyone you listed other than Wayne, I have to ask....have they taught before or are they just recent age outs? What makes them more special than other staffs? Is it just because you're with Magic and haven't had any other corps experience that you say that? Is it just because of who those people have marched with? (Remember, Rod Carew was one of the greatest hitters ever but turned out to be one of the worst hitting coaches ever). doogiempt Posted April 2, 2002 Share Posted April 2, 2002 Gino Cipriani - marched BD 83-85 taught BD 89-99 (was caption head a few of those years) taught Cadets 00-01 with Magic and Brigadiers (sp) right now Ben Harloff marched Star 89-93 (DM in 93) I think he did Brass Theater for a while taught Cadets 98, 02-??? Michael Terry Yeah I think I would associate Gino with BD way before Cadets,but as far as being BD caption head I think Wayne Downey would have something to say about that.
